The
Toshiba Portégé G910 caught some attraction when Toshiba officially announced it
last month. Being the real follower of the HTC Universal by doing everything the
HTC Universal did but with updated specs. For instance, the G910 features
Windows Mobile 6 Professional, for sure as well as triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well
as singleband UMTS/HSDPA, Bluetooth and WiFi b/g. Furthermore it features built
in GPS for and a a high resolution 3" Wide-VGA touch screen that is perfect for
displaying web pages. The full QWERTY keyboard gives it the look and feel of a
mini laptop:
The Portégé G710 will be available across Europe in the first quarter of
2008; a price wasn't announced today.
Later this year, Toshiba will also launch the Toshiba Portégé G920, which
supports A-GPS for those network operators offering this service. Prices are
still not given.
