No
question, most of you know that I'm a big fan of Sling Media's Slingbox (which
I'm using nearly every day) and therefore I'm even happier to tell you, that
Sling Media just announced its brand-new
Slingbox SOLO. The
Slingbox SOLO is SlingMedia's first worldwide model which is simultaneously
launching in the US (US$ 179.99), Canada (CAD$ 199.99) and the UK (£ 129.99).
The new key elements of the SOLO are: Integrated support for component video,
pass-through or "looping" outputs and refreshed design. The Slingbox SOLO is,
more or less a feature enhanced refresh of the
Slinbox
AV which also came, like the Slingbox SOLO without an inbuilt tuner but
requires either a set-top or any other A/V source from an input device:

Furthermore, Sling Media finally announced the UK release of the
Slingbox PRO (which was released late last year in the US already) which is
the perfect companion your home theater. The Slingbox PRO allows you to watch
and control up to three standard definition and one high definition video
devices anywhere you go. Using an Internet connected computer or mobile device,
you can watch and control your home TV, DVR, basic cable, digital cable box or
satellite receiver around town or around the globe. It will retail in the UK for
£ 199.99 and even includes the HD Connect cable, which is a US$ 50 worth
accessory in the US and Canada as well as a Free View DVB-T tuner (which the US
version doesn't includes).

As always, and this makes the all Slingbox's so interesting, you can watch TV
anywhere in the world, straight from your
Windows
Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone (EDGE is the minimum you should have) or via
Mac, PC as well as Palm OS and Symbian devices.
A review should follow soon, stay tuned!
UPDATE: Not yet Windows Mobile related but anyway. Together with the introduction of its new Slingboxes, Sling Media also introduces a Symbian S60 client which can be downloaded now. At the moent, The SlingPlayer Mobile for Symbian OS v1.0 supports the Nokia N95, Nokia N75 and Nokia E65 (in the US) and the Nokia N95, Nokia E65, Nokia N73, Nokia 6120 (in the UK).
