A dream come true - finally! The Parrot MK6000 is the first professionally installed Bluetooth hands-free kit dedicated to music. It combines the very latest generation of signal processing with the capability of playing MP3 music files via Bluetooth's A2DP and AVRC profiles. In addition, it incorporates the very latest "Parrot Beamforming" signal processing technology by means of a pair of twin microphones. As a result, the kit picks up the driver's voice more clearly, while effectively reducing surrounding noise.
The Parrot MK6000 captures the music sent by your Bluetooth stereo mobile phone or MP3 player and redirects it to the vehicle’s speakers which mute automatically so your own music comes through loud and clear.

The Parrot MK6000 automatically synchronizes its phonebook with the contacts on your mobile phone. To call a contact, go to the phonebook and listen to the Parrot kit read out your contacts' names! Confirm your choice and start talking.

Basically it means, you don't need a CD player in your car anymore since a Windows Mobile device with a 1, 2 or even 4 GB SD card can hold way more music. Only one thing bugs me a little bit, that the Parrot MK6000 hasn't have an extra display like some of its forerunners had.

The Parrot MK6000 should be available within the next months and will cost around 189 Euro.

That's indeed a nice replacement for an SD- and USB-enabled 3rd party car audio system! I'm thinking especially about high-end cars where replacing the built-in audio system usually defaces the dashboard.

That's something I would like to have. It's pretty much what I want for my car...
