As
announced earlier by Vodafone, the Palm Treo 750v indeed went on sale today and
is available for immediate delivery.
Featuring Windows Mobile 5.0 with AKU 2 and MSFP, the Treo 750v is Palm's first
Windows Mobile based Treo for the European markets. In addition to its quadband
GSM/GPRS capabilities, the 750v is also supporting triband UMTS which makes the
device a real world-traveler. Also on board are Bluetooth 1.2 and a 1.3
megapixel camera. W-LAN and a front facing camera for videotelephony are left -
unfortunately. However, according to several sources, the Treo 750v is expected
to be HSDPA upgradeable by a simple ROM update only.

In Germany, the Palm Treo 750v is available from 299,89 (with a 24 months
contract) to 649,50 (without a contract) while it is not clear yet, if the
device is SIM-/Net-Locked or not.
In the UK, the 750v is available from free to £ 212.77 (depending on the
contract).
