According
to a report at CNET Asia, O2 Asia has recently announced a Windows Mobile
upgrade for its O2 Xda Atom Life Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition, the
UMTS successor of the O2 Xda Atom (which is currently on sale in Asia-Pacific
only). This is O2 Asia's first announced Windows Mobile 6 upgrade.
The free upgrade will be available from May 12 to all current Xda Atom Life
users and will be available either as a download for a self-upgrade or by
getting it from one of O2 Asia's service centers.
Furthermore, all Xda Atom Life sold in stores from June onwards will be
preloaded with Windows Mobile 6 already.

O2 Asia wasn't able to confirm if its other handhelds like the Zinc and Graphite would get a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade as well.
Cheers ~ Arne
