Today
I'm unboxing the Toshiba G500 Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone. The Toshiba Portégé
G500 has a, for Windows Mobile Smartphones, still unique "slider" design. Based
on Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone, the device features triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE,
singleband UMTS/HSDPA as well as WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 1.2. In addition it
features two cameras - the main camera on the back which supports 2 megapixel
and a front facing QVGA camera which is used for UMTS
video-telephony. The Portégé G500 provides a unique and enhanced level of
security through fingerprint recognition. The fingerprint sensor can also be
used to navigate the phone's menu and to unlock the device:
I will follow-up with the review of the device later. In the meantime feel
free to ask your questions in the comments bellow as well as don't miss the
photo view of the Toshiba Portégé G500 here.
Cheers ~ Arne
