SERVICE: Microsoft releases Xbox Video for Windows Phone 8
Posted by Arne Hess - at 18:11 CET under 02 - Windows Mobile News

Xbox Video is Microsoft's digital video service which offers full HD films and TV show rental and purchase from the Xbox Video Store. So far, the service - which is available on the Xbox 360 and the new Xbox One - was accessible through Windows 8 and Windows RT only. But today, right in time with the recent Xbox One launch, Microsoft released Xbox Video for Windows Phone 8. This neat app brings the latest movies and TV shows to your Windows Phone 8 and makes it easy to watch what you love wherever you are. Like its Xbox and Windows counterparts, it allows to rent and buy new blockbuster movies and favorite classics, or catch up on last night's episodes of the hottest TV shows, and watch them on your Windows Phone 8, PC, tablet, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or at XboxVideo.com.

Evernote is for sure Microsoft OneNote's strongest competitor and the benefits of Evernote is its device and OS independency. Yesterday evening, Evernote released an Android update which is all about dramatically improving the note creation and editing process on smartphones and tablets. One of the things that makes Evernote so useful is that you can keep everything related to a project - text, images and audio - together in one note. The new Android update lets you not only add attachments, but it also places these files in-line within the note. So you can see everything in the right place as you scroll through. If you are like many Evernote users, then you're creating notes across a variety of platforms.
