After Orange's introduction of the C500 (HTC Typhoon) two weeks ago in UK, Orange France followed now with their announcement to introduce therecently announced Sagem myS-7:

The sleek, lightweight Smartphone with tri-band GSM/GPRS technology has been designed for professional and personal entertainment use. The myS-7 enables customers to manage personal information and synchronize their e-mail, calendar and contacts with Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 either via a PC connection or via seamless over-the-air synchronization with Microsoft Exchange Server.

BROWSER: Opera will release its browser for Windows Smartphones also

Opera Software has announced that its Opera smartphone browser will soon become available for Microsoft Windows Mobile based Smartphones as well. Windows Mobile is a completely new platform for Opera which was available for Symbian based phones only so far.

London - 18th August 2004. Orange today announced the commercial availability of the SPV C500 - the world's smallest Smartphone. Orange has driven down the cost of manufacturing, as well as the cost of components within the phone, in order to provide its customers with a stylish, functional device that offers best value for money.

The SPV C500 will be available in the UK for under £79.99 from Orange Retail stores, signaling Orange's continued commitment to its Signature phone portfolio, its series of devices designed to make it easy for customers to access advanced services, such as Photo messaging, email and internet access. On Your Plan 120, the phone is available for free and is expected to be one of the hottest-buys from Orange this autumn.

UPDATE: DeveloperOne released Power Calendar for Smartphone Version 2.5

DeveloperOne, maker of great Pocket PC and Smartphone utilities like Agenda Fusion (for Pocket PC) and CodeWallet (for Pocket PC and Smartphone) recently released its Power Calendar as a 2.5 pre-release version.
While the original calendar application is "good" enough to view your synchronized applications, Power Calendar adds much more value.

The Orange SPV C500, today's smallest and lightest Windows Mobile Smartphone, is the state of the art candy bar Smartphone and HTC's latest addition (introduced as HTC Typhoon). Finally it seems to become available from Orange (see link here) and my fellow MVP Paul over at MoDaCo gave it a complete review.

So if you live in an Orange country you definitely should give it a read (as you are the first to pick it up) and  if you don't live in an Orange country today you should even give it a read also because it seems to become available all over the world soon. ;-)

The Motorola MPx220 appears on Motorola's product page - finally and therefore it seems we come closer to the release (even if I can not confirm any release dates now).
Motorola states that you can sign up to get update information when its available. Also, you can be the first 1.000 people to buy and register the new MPx220 and get a free Motorola Bluetooth Headset. 8O

While the product page doesn't tells any news it's great to surf it to get a better clue of one of the finest Smartphones, available (soon).

So if you plan to buy the MPx this review - even if it is in French - is definitely worth to read; if you don't plan to buy one it's worth anyway to know what you might miss.
