Posted by Arne Hess - at 16:45 CET under 02 - Windows Mobile News

When walking around the T-Mobile stand again, I found the previously announced T-Mobile SDA II and SDA II Music in a vitrine, a little bit hidden and not really in the focus (also most of the staff din't knew T-Mobile have dummies on the booth) of T-Mobile.

Anyway - I'm happy to present you here the first pictures of T-Mobile's latest Windows Mobile Smartphone developments: the SDA II Music with 1.3 Megapixel camera and the SDA II without camera:

CEBIT LIVE: T-Mobile and Vodafone showing the HTC Universal
Posted by Arne Hess - at 12:53 CET under 02 - Windows Mobile News

The HTC Universal aka T-Mobile MDA IV and Vodafone VP IV caught a lot of interest during the past weeks since T-Mobile announced it first. It was publicly shown first time in Cannes at the 3GSM congress last month however it was behind glass and without much information. Now, at least T-Mobile, shows a "running" version (which is basically a Flash presentation only). However, they also present it open, closed, converted, etc. on their stand so it's worth to see anyway - even if you can not "play" with it. ;-)

I just came back from the Samsung stand where I spent plenty of time by playing with the Samsung SGH-I300 aka "Thor" and I have to admit I'm impressed. It's a pretty huge candybar design (as long as the HTC Magician aka i-mate JAM) but unlike the Magician it's running the Smartphone not Pocket PC Phone Edition Windows Mobile version.

SynData, maker of SmartphoneNotes (which is IMHO the best and only true Notes "plugin" for Windows Mobile Smartphones - something Microsoft should consider to license ;-)) seems to work on a new version: SmartphoneNotes 2.0.
At least it appears on SyncData's Beta software page with a screenshot - however, right now there is now download available.
