Posted by Arne Hess - at 07:47 CET under 02 - Windows Mobile News

Well, now Engadget Mobile has a photo of (most likely) Vierizon Wireless' upcoming Windows Mobile smartphone which is, as expected, a messaging smartphone like HTC's recently announced HTC Snap. Still interesting is the fact that, according to the GCF, the XV6175 supports quadband GSM at 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz but not WCDMA (UMTS/HSPA). However, if the XV6175 is really coming on Verizon Wireless, it will also support CDMA since Verizon Wireless is using CDMA instead of GSM or UMTS. But there's a real chance that the XV6175 might be a world-phone which supports both - CDMA and GSM:
