Following T-Mobile US' earlier announcement to launch the HTC Snap as T-Mobile Dash 3G, Verizon Wireless and HTC announced today the HTC Ozone, Verizon Wireless' version of the HTC Snap. UNCONFIRMED: HTC Firestone Rendering and Info hit the Web

It's not yet confirmed that the device bellow is legit but according to the info, bellow the HTC Firestone Windows Mobile smartphone show its face which firstly appeared earlier this year. The HTC Firestone (which might also known as the HTC Star now) seems to be an updated twin-brother to the HTC Touch Diamond or HTC Max 4G. According to the information, it will run on Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional and is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm 8250 CPU at 600 MHz. Furthermore it's said that the HTC Firestone supports quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as dualband UMTS/HSDPA at 900/2100 MHz, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiFi b/g and aGPS.

OFFICIAL: T-Mobile USA to offer the HTC Snap as T-Mobile Dash 3G

T-Mobile USA today announced the upcoming availability of its newest 3G-enabled smartphone, the T-Mobile Dash 3G. Designed by HTC (and also known as the HTC Snap), the Dash 3G is running Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard edition and is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7225 CPU at 528 MHz. It features a full-QWERTY keyboard, easy-to-use trackball, 2 megapixel camera and vibrant 2.4" QVGA (320x240) display. The Dash 3G offers a balance of personal and professional connections in a sleek design with faster data delivery and Web browsing via T-Mobile's 2G, its high-speed 3G network and Wi-Fi b/g as well as the device supports Bluetooth 2.0 and aGPS.

UNVEILED: LG announces the GW550 Windows Mobile Standard Smartphone

Information are yet rare but yesterday, LG announced another Windows Mobile Standard smartphone at the CommunicAsia 2009, the LG GW550. Featuring a front-facing QWERTY keyboard, the LG GW550 competes with HTC's recently launched HTC Snap and Samsung's recently unveiled Omnia Pro B7320. The LG GW550 features quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as "global" UMTS, HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA up to 2.0 Mbps as well as a 2.4" QVGA display and includes a 3 megapixel camera and stereo speakers and is powered by a 1300 mAh battery.

UNVEILED: Huawei announces the C8000 Windows Mobile Professional Smartphone

During this week's CommunicAsia, Huawei showcased its C8000, one of the few Windows Mobile smartphones Huawei developed so far.
While Huawei hasn't unveiled too much yet, it's said that the C8000 features Windows Mobile (most likely Professional but no word about the version), incorporates a 3D menu graphic user interface (GUI) and a unique independent display adapter which enables the smooth presentation of video files and DVD-quality pictures on the 2.8" touchscreen. With optimized power management, the new handset is capable of playing video files continuously for six to eight hours.

UNVEILED: Samsung introduces the Omnia PRO B7320 Windows Mobile Standard Smartphone [UPDATE]

UNVEILED: More Samsung GT-B7610 Information and Photos hit the Web

While Samsung is still not talking officially about the Samsung GT-B7610 business smartphone (code-named "Louvre"), some official press shots emerged recently and it looks like the B7610 is somewhat official now; especially after it was also demoed where the full specs were unveiled as well. According to these information, the Samsung B7610 will run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and a free Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade is expected for September/October time frame. Powered by a (yet not named) 800 MHz CPU, the B7610 is expected to support quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as dualband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 1800/2100 MHz, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR as well as aGPS and an FM radio. UNVEILED: Samsung B7610 Louvre Windows Phone shows its Face

Leaked back in January and confirmed after in April, Samsung's new Windows Mobile business-slider, the B7610 "Louvre", wasn't pictured so far but all we had were mock-ups. Now, at long last, a photo appeared which seems to be legit. Furthermore, GPSAndCo got its hands on the latest specs and according to their information the Samsung B7610 is expected to run on Windows Mobile 6.1 with an upgrade option to Windows Mobile 6.5 later. It's said to feature a 3.5" AMOLED WVGA (800x480) touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with image stabilization and HSDPA 7.2 Mbps. UNVEILED: More Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 Information hits the Web

Do you remember last week's rumor of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 Windows Mobile smartphone? While Engadget Mobile only received a photo, no further information became available about the specs. Now, a user at the Forums unveiled more information. According to these information, the Xperia X2 will feature a 8.1 megapixel autofocus camera which allows VGA videos up to 30 fps (MP4 HQ), sports a 3.5" WVGA (800x480) OLED touchscreen as well as feature GPS/aGPS and an accelerometer, a faster processor and sports 512 MB or RAM.

UNVEILED: Samsung GT-I8000 Omnia II shows its Face and gets more Details

Some time back, we reported about the Samsung GT-I8000 which we expected to become the Samsung i900 Omnia follower and latest information seems to confirm it. According to these info, the GT-I8000 could be called Samsung Omnia2 or Omnia II and it's expected to feature a 3.7" WVGA (800x480) AMOLED or TFT resistive touchscreen, a 8.1 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and VGA videos at 30 fps video recording (even if we've heard that the 8 megapixel camera was axed in favor of a less powerful camera). Furthermore the I8000 is expected to feature 150 MB internal memory, a Qualcomm processor and a microSD card slot as well as GSM, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi GPS and miniUSB are onboard.

RUMOR: Is this Sony Ericsson's Xperia X2 Windows Mobile Smartphone?

We already heard about a possible upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 launch late last year from Sony Ericsson but so far, nothing is confirmed. Nevertheless, Engadget Mobile just received a photo of a device which is said to be Sony Ericsson's next Xperia. Sure, at the moment it's just a rumor and also we haven't heard about the specs but the device seems to feature an arc-slider as well and clearly sports a Windows flag which is an indication that the next Xperia will also feature Windows Mobile (version yet unknown). Furthermore it sports an Xpanel hardware key which indicates that Sony Ericsson will continue its Xpanel GUI.

Unveiled during the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona already, today Giga-Byte Communications Inc., (GBC) announced its latest Windows Phone, the GSmart S1200, again. Designed as a light, slim and trendy styled smartphone, the S1200 runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 with an upgrade option to Windows Mobile 6.5. The stylish and powerful S1200 is powered by a Qualcomm CPU at 528 MHz and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA as well as Bluetooth and WiFi b/g and GPS. The device features a 3.1" WVGA touchscreen, featuring Giga-Byte's self-developed and now called "Smart Vision" GUI. The autofocus camera snaps photos up to 3 megapixel. The S1200 measures 106 x 52 x 11.4 mm and includes a Send, End and function button only to keep the design as minimalistic as possible.

MYSTERIOUS: Samsung Unpacked - is this Samsung's next Windows Mobile Smartphone?

Samsung has just launched a website with a counter which is called "Samsung Unpacked". In 12 days and something around 22 hours (or to be less precise - on June 15th), Samsung will reveal and unpack a new overwhelming powered and performing mobile phone. While there are no further information available yet, Samsung is providing a X-ray image of its new mobile phone and when I saw it first, I thought it could be the Samsung I7500 Galaxy Android smartphone since it seems to feature a similar shape.
However, a closer looks and a comparison unveiled that it won't be the GT-I7500 Galaxy, even if both devices seem to feature the same DNA (left the mysterious new phone, right the I7500 Galaxy):
