UNVEILED: Samsung previews Samsung Hub and new Content Services on its new Galaxy S4

Together with tonight's introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung has also previewed its new Samsung Hub and new Content Services it will introduce together with the S4. Samsung Hub is an integrated multimedia content store offering a comprehensive media experience, providing music, videos, books, games and learning content within a stunning magazine-style display. Samsung Hub will provide a single entry for Samsung's five content services, making it incredibly easy and convenient to use. Users will be able to browse through a variety of content across services, as well as purchase and manage content easily, from a single Samsung Account. Samsung Hub features an integrated search, allowing to search for a keyword and showing related content from all of the five services at once.

UNVEILED: Samsung announces the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android high-end Smartphone

As expected, Samsung has announced tonight the fourth generation Galaxy S, the Galaxy S4. Running on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean), the Galaxy S4 will be available in two flavors - one with a 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU and one with a 1.6 GHz Samsung Exynos octa-core CPU (market depending). Hardly any other device is supporting as many WWAN as the Galaxy S4 which is said to support quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, quadband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+ (up to 42) Mbps at 850/900/1900/2100 MHz and 4G LTE (up to 100/50 Mbps) with up to 6 different bands (market dependent). Furthermore the S4 features WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS and GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 (LE), an IR LED and MHL 2.0.

MWC LIVE: Samsung unveils plans to launch its own Digital Wallet solution

Sure we need another digital wallet solution and that's exactly what Samsung thought as well and therefore the Koreans introduced at today's Developer Day at the Mobile World Congress its own "Samsung Wallet". If Apple's Passbook (which also works just fine on Android) or Microsoft Wallet isn't enough for you, Samsung Wallet is said to be a convenient mobile app which allows users to store and manage event tickets, boarding passes, membership cards and coupons all in one place. By using Samsung Wallet API, partners can integrate their Associate Apps and Samsung Wallet in the way that they can add their tickets and coupons to Samsung Wallet.

UNVEILED: ZTE announces the Grand Memo 5.7" Android Phablet

At the current Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ZTE joined the phablet bandwagon by introducing the ZTE Grand Memo. Running on Android 4.1, it features a 5.7", 720 x 1280 HD display and a powerful Qualcomm 800 processor with quad-core Krait CPUs and 2 GB of RAM. Combined with a 13 megapixel main camera, a 1 megapixel front-facing camera and 1080 HD video playback, it provides users a smooth, high quality multimedia experience that is perfect for gaming and video (but thanks to the size, for sure not as your average daily phone). The Grand Memo also includes a 3200 mAh battery for super-long standby time. Furthermore it comes with ZTE's custom Mifavor UI and LTE.

MWC LIVE: Samsung previews Samsung HomeSync - Google TV which isn't called so

Yesterday, right before the the Mobile World Congress, Samsung officially unveiled its Samsung HomeSync, that the company calls a home hub solution which comes with a shared storage fit for a family. It's said to provide the best entertainment experience on a big screen TV and a new way of enjoying HDTV through a familiar and smarter Android user experience. Samsung HomeSync's 1 TB drive can help users to sync to multiple devices and providing shared or private storage for all kind of content. It supports eight separate accounts to cover a whole family, and allows each user to upload and download content from multiple devices and instantly share with other family members.
