Wireless, a leading dual mode (Cellular/VoWLAN) technology provider to global
wireless OEMs/ODMs, other cellular phone design houses, Internet Service
Providers, IP-PBX vendors, broadband equipment providers and operators, today
announced the launch of their second generation SIP-based Windows Mobile dual
mode handset at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The hipi-2300 is Paragon Wireless’ newest addition to their Microsoft Windows
Mobile dual mode handset technology. Utilizing Paragon’s proven VoWLAN/GSM
dual-mode technology, the hipi-2300 includes the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating
system to further expand the usability and functionality of this extremely
versatile smartphone. With its built-in 1.3M pixel camera, the MP3/MP4 player
and the camcorder/recorder, users can access the Internet, listen to music and
take/review pictures all from one easily carried handset that also serves as
their mobile phone. The 1100mAh Li-ion battery offers users up to 4 hours of
WiFi talk time and up to 6 hours of GSM talk time, or up to 100 hours of standby
time, while having both radios on simultaneously.

3GSM LIVE: DataViz announces commercial availability of Documents To Go for Windows Mobile

before in a public Beta only,
DataViz today announced that its award-winning mobile Office Suite Documents To
Go, is now available for Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone devices. The #1
selling Palm OS office editing suite, Documents To Go, will now allow users of
Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone devices to view, edit and create Word, Excel and
PowerPoint files on their devices and in their native formats. In addition,
users can view Adobe PDF files and decompress zipped E-Mail attachments. Other
features include support for password protected Word and Excel files and the
ability to view, edit and create Excel charts. Documents To Go is available for
a wide variety of Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone devices such as the Motorola Q,
Samsung BlackJack, T-Mobile Dash, T-Mobile SDA, Cingular 3125 and Cingular 2125,
to name a few. DataViz will be demonstrating Documents To Go at 3GSM World
Congress in Barcelona.

3GSM LIVE: Toshiba to launch the G500 Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard smartphone

Toshiba's
second device, unveiled at 3GSM Congress in Barcelona, is the G900 Windows
Mobile Standard smartphone. The G500 is a compact, triband 3G enabled, slider
style handset, superbly designed with cool, calm and collected good looks. With
the G500, you're traveling first class, worldwide.
The fingerprint sensor uses biometric technology to ensure that the G500 is
secured against unauthorized access. The same sensor can be used to navigate the
phone's menus at the touch of a finger. If you use a Bluetooth notebook PC, it
can be locked and unlocked due to its proximity to your G500, up to a radius of
approximately 10m.
