AVAILABILITY: Jolla to Ship 1st Sailfish OS Smartphones from November 27

Right in preparation of its first smartphone launch which will go on sale with DNA first, Jolla has announced today that all pre-ordered Jolla smartphones will be shipped from November 27. So if you have pre-ordered yours back in spring, it shouldn't take too long anymore to hold the word's first Sailfish OS smartphone in your hands. According to Jolla's FAQ, the launch party is on 27 November in Helsinki, where DNA will setup a pop-up store. At the event, a total of 450 Jollas will be sold to customers who have pre-ordered their phones in the first pre-booking campaign. At the same time, Jolla will start mail deliveries to all the pre-order customers from all countries which ordered in both, the 1st and 2nd pre-booking campaigns.

Shipping is said to be served in the priority order customers have placed their original orders. Jolla will E-Mail instructions to complete payments online. Also pre-booking customers who do not get a confirmed place at the launch party can complete their purchase online. Details will be sent to all pre-booking customer via E-Mail before the launch party. All deliveries will be served in priority order.

Furthermore, Jolla unveiled that phones will be gradually available through direct online sales.
