Not that this info has any interest for international readers but it might have for German readers. Late last year, Sling Media, the famous maker of Slingboxes, announced it will also come to Germany and finally Sling Media opened its German online shop as well. As a matter of fact, Germany is one of the last Western European countries Sling Media comes to. Founded in 2004, Sling Media, Inc. invented a new product category called place-shift when it brought its first Slingbox to the market. The Slingbox turns any Internet-connected PC, Notebook/Netbook, Mac or smartphone (incl. support for Windows Mobile, Symbian, BlackBerry and iPhone) into your home television. That means you can watch TV virtually anywhere in the world.

Now Sling Media opened its online shop in Germany as well where the company offers all its latest Slingboxes, including the Slingbox Solo, Slingbox Pro, the SlingCatcher as well as the SlingPlayer Mobile (for smartphones) and the SlingLink Turbo.

Cheers ~ Arne
