Following
Palms
earlier announcement to release a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for 3 Australia
Treo 750 users, today Palm also released its Windows Mobile 6 upgrade in Europe
- at the moment for the Vodafone Treo 750v only and available right from now for
UK, Irish and Dutch users. The generic, non branded Treo 750 upgrade for the
rest of Europe is expected to be released during September but hey, that's at
least a start!
Beside all the joy Windows Mobile 6 Professional includes, the update also
includes the long time awaited HSPDA upgrade!

The upgrade is now available free of charge and works, according to Palm with
both - Windows XP and Windows Vista PCs. However, there is a limit of one
download per customer only. So better ensure you retain your copy of your
download on your computer because you will not be able to obtain another copy
once you start the download process. Also, once you install this download on
your device, you will not be able to revert back to Windows Mobile 5.0. And last
but not least Palm Windows Mobile 6 does not support the Blackberry Connect
(BBC) service.
This particular download is available only until 31st October 2008 so you have
plenty of time to grab your copy!
Cheers ~ Arne
