Palm's latest Windows Mobile smartphone but someone in Canada made
everything right. Instead of launching the Palm Treo 750 with the initial
Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition version, Rogers just launched it with
Windows Mobile 6 Professional and enabled HSDPA support.
It offers broadband-like download speeds and global roaming capabilities on a
color touch-screen that replicates desktop applications to make navigating
online and through multiple applications quick and easy while on the go.
The Treo 750 combines the world-class Palm experience of a multifunction
mobile phone with a new, powerful Windows Mobile 6 Professional software for
E-Mail, messaging, web browsing and Office Mobile that lets users review and
edit business documents and access corporate data. The Treo 750 is the perfect
balance between power and performance running Windows Mobile 6, which brings a
powerful desktop computing experience to the small screen, improving how people
do business on the go from a single device to save them time.
Powerful business features combined with Palm usability improvements, such as
photo speed dial and Direct Push Technology, allow Palm customers added
freedoms. Users can access multiple business and personal E-Mail accounts,
including Outlook E-Mail, and get easy updates to calendar, contacts and tasks
while leveraging high-speed web access on the go.
The Treo 750 also has a full QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging, a bright 240
x 240 color touch-screen and support for Bluetooth stereo headsets. The built-in
128 MB memory (60 MB user available) can be enhanced by using the mini-SD slot
to add memory cards of up to 4 GB, which are great for storing data, photos,
music and video.
Without a contract, Rogers' Palm Treo 750 is now available for CAD$ 649.99
and is going as low as CAD$ 249.99 with a 36 months subscription.
