Electronics Canada and Rogers Wireless today announced the joint-launch of the,
in Canada, so called "Samsung Jack"; in the U.S. better known as the
Samsung BlackJack
II or Samsung SGH-i616.
The Samsung Jack, is available now exclusively from Rogers Wireless (and already
sold out) and is packed full with power and functionality for all things
business while laced with rich entertainment features for media junkies.
Running on Rogers Wireless HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access) network and operating
on the Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard Edition platform, the Samsung Jack provides
quick and easy web access allowing users to browse websites and downlink files
at broadband-like speeds.

It also gives users access to Microsoft Windows based-applications and word
editing capabilities, the ability to transfer files from their PC and remote
access to E-Mail. Through ActiveSync, users can easily sync the Samsung Jack
with their PC.
Jacked up with a wide selection of entertainment options, users can listen to
music, play games and view video clips on the go. With its 2.0 megapixel camera
and stereo Bluetooth, the Samsung Jack can satisfy the needs of just about any
media junkie. With a full QWERTY keypad and the instant messaging capabilities
users can easily stay connected with friends and family while on the run.
Weighing 115 grams, and equipped with a 320 x 240
pixel color display, it looks as good as it performs.

available for purchase at Rogers Wireless dealers and retail locations across
Canada or online.
