Unveiled late last year already, Sprint has now released it's version of the Samsung SPH-i325 Windows Mobile standard smartphone, the carrier calls the Samsung ACE.
The Samsung ACE is the sleekest world phone, featuring Windows Mobile 6 Standard and offers the ability to use one device both in the U.S. and while traveling outside of North America because the Samsung ACE supports both CDMA and GSM/GPRS networks by plugging in a SIM card into the unlocked device. Within the U.S., where coverage is available, experience broadband–like download speeds using Sprint's EV-DO network.

The Samsung ACE is a mix of the Samsung SGH-i320 2.5G GSM smartphone and the Samsung SGH-i600/BlackJack 3G smartphone. While the front looks pretty similar to the i320, the side and backside looks like an i600/BlackJack:

The integrated QWERTY keyboard provides a familiar interface and allows for quick and efficient input of information while the 1.3 megapixel camera allows you to shoot digital pictures as well as recording video clips and play them on the screen. The inbuilt memory can be extended using microSD memory cards.
While the Samsunce ACE doesn't features WiFi, it supports Bluetooth which can be used with headsets, car-kits and other Bluetooth-compatible devices.
Last but not least, the Samsung ACE features a 2.3" QVGA TFT display and the i600/BlackJack typical thumbwheel
for a more convenient one-hand navigation.

Without any rebates, Sprint's Samsung ACE is now available for US$ 449.99 which reduces to US$ 199.00 with all instant savings and rebates on a 2 year contract.
