O2
Germany was far ahead of TomTom, when it launched its O2 Xda diamond last month
which contains TomTom Navigator 7, a so far not officially announced TomTom
version for Windows Mobile Professional devices. And while O2 gave one free city
download with its TomTom Navigator 7, it was impossible to purchase any further
maps from TomTom. The only way to expand the maps was a workaround.
Now, TomTom finally released maps which are compatible to O2's used TomTom
Navigator 7 and at the moment, TomTom offers two kind of map packs: TomTom Map of Western Europe v7.20 and TomTom Map of Eastern Europe v7.20

Map of Western Europe features an additional 30,000 Km of new roads and
nearly 15,000 new POI and covers Great Britain, Republic of Ireland, Germany,
Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, Monaco, Italy, San Marino, Vatican
City, Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Sweden,
Denmark, Norway and Finland and the Canary Islands with a street network
coverage of around 99%.
Map of Eastern Europe features an additional 75,000 km of new roads and
15,000 new POI. Detailed door-to-door navigation is offered throughout the Czech
Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia.
Plus limited coverage of Croatia, including the major cities and coastal region.
Other Eastern European countries are covered by a connected network of major
roads that allows you seamless navigation throughout the entire region.
Map of Western Europe is now available for 59.95 Euro, the Map of Eastern
Europe is available for 39.95 Euro.
Not yet released is TomTom Navigator 7 but the German TomTom site only
mentions that TomTom Navigator 7 is available preinstalled on selected devices.
