Todd Saylor from SBSH Soft (maker of Papyrus for Smartphone and Pocket Breeze for Pocket PC) recently announced in SBSH's forum the development start of Facade  for Smartphone.

Facade is a new Homescreen plug-in for Windows Mobile Smartphones. In the initial version the planned main features are: a schedule view, a tasks view, and a program launcher.
The goal of Facade is to present the information you need the most, right on your Homescreen and always available. Tabs are used to maximize the available screen space.

The public Beta isn't released yet nor is a final version release date given but the screenshot above looks promising enough to keep an eye on the forum.
