Ed from Pocket PC Thoughts reports about a freeware Internet browser I've never heard about before too:

ftxPBrowser for Pocket PC 2002 which supports Multi tab window and Save image to file. and requires Pocket PC 2002

According to the project site currently not supported (but the developer is working on it) are: download of file by link, reload page by Toolbar, saving typed history and add/edit favorites.

Hm, sound interesting overall, even if some features missed right now. However, it's freeware so far but I wonder if it is working completely independent or if it is based on the PIE, like Desktop browser clones of IE?
In additional a Support BBS is available also - maybe you can find more information there as well.

Cheers ~ Arne
