 While
we are still waiting for an official word from Sony Ericsson, Expansys has
spilled the beans again and put the full spec-sheet and photos of Sony
Ericsson's first Google Android smartphone which seems to be called "Xperia X3"
(most likely code-named Rachael) on its pre-order page. According to Expansys,
the Xperia X3 rund on Android, features quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as
dualband HSDPA/HSUPA at 900/2100 MHz (HSUPA up to 2 Mbps and HSDPA up to 10
Mbps), Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi g and aGPS. Unlike current Android smartphones, which
features HVGA only, the Xperia X3 is said to sport a 4" WVGA touchscreen
(therefore the Xperia X3 can't run on Cupcake) and a massive 8 megapixel
autofocus camera with LED flash, image stabilization, smile shutter and face
detection:
Further information like availability, price, etc. are yet unknown but you
can pre-order the Xperia X3 already - from Expansys for sure.
