According
to Pocket-lint, Huawei's first Android phone -
which was on show at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona - has
been confirmed to be launched on T-Mobile later this year.
A Huawei spokesperson recently confirmed that Huawi's Android smartphone will
join HTC's G1 in T-Mobile's Android line-up: "I can confirm that Huawei will
be releasing the third Google phone on T-Mobile this year". The handset,
said to be "low-cost", featuring a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.5 mm headphone jack
and WiFi, for sure. Nothing said in terms of WWAN connectivity or other features
yet.

The rendering above shows the device, Huawei had on show in Barcelona.
However, we got told that this design isn't reflecting what Huawei will
commercially release as its first Android smartphone but it was a design
prototype.
Nevertheless, I find it quite interesting that Huawei confirms to release the
3rd T-Mobile Google Android smartphone since T-Mobile has - so far - not
announced the release of its second Android smartphone. Seems to confirm that
the recently FCC approved HTC Magic will definitely becomes T-Mobile 2nd Android
smartphone.
Huawei hasn't yet unveiled on which T-Mobile networks its Android smartphone
will be launched. Also it's not yet confirmed that this will be a T-Mobile
exclusive launch.
