DEVICE: More info and photos of the HTC Typhoon Smartphone available

As reported on Monday, MoDaCo received some information about a so far unknown Windows Mobile Smartphone from HTC, called HTC Typhoon aka "Orange SPV c500"

Now MoDaCo received more detailed information as well as some more photos:

  • We can see here that the C500 is significantly more compact that the E200, and looks set to be a hit!
  • We can also confirm that the device has built in Bluetooth, shares the same camera as the E200, and contains the OMAP 730 processor.
  • One exclusive little tidbit of information that's sure to get the arguments going... The SD/MMC slot is under the battery!
  • More info - the phone has a Mini USB port on the base, a-la MPx200!

If you are interested into this phone, you will find a lot more photos at MoDaCo! For me, this phone doesn't looks like it will be my next one.

how ugly! 8O i'm awaiting the mpx220 as seen on modaco aloso. hope it's real and will be launched soon.

Ugly?  Big improvement on the E200 if you ask me.
