GPRS PLAN: T-Mobile USA drops GPRS fee and introduce flat GPRS

Argh... I want it also! Pocket PC Thoughts is reporting about a flat GPRS plan from T-Mobile USA:

For $19.99, you can get UNLIMITED wireless Internet access when coupled to a voice service of at least $29.99. I had been paying $19.99 for just 10MB. Sometimes these deals are reserved for new customers only, though, so I called T-Mobile technical support (800-937-8997) and within five minutes my account had been switched to the new data plan!

That's not a bad deal at all! 8) I've recently upgraded my plan for O2 Germany from the "GPRS by Call" to GPRS XL which includes 5 MB per month for € 7,95 and every additional 10 KB costs 0,022 € (because I'm using a Smartphone and a Pocket PC Phone Edition I had to upgrade both SIM cards to GPRS XL). However, an "equal" tariff for 24,95 € would give me 20 MB only... I'm still asking myself why GPRS is so prohibited expensive in some countries without the option to buy a flat plan? Please Peter Erskine (CEO mmO2): "introduce flat GPRS in the O2 countries as well"... ;-)

Cheers ~ Arne
