HANDS-ON: Engadget got its hands on a Palm Treo 700w Pocket PC Phone Edition

You have to check this article over at Engadget since they managed it to get their hands to the Windows Mobile powered Palm Treo 700w - also/better known as Palm 670 and rumored for a long time now.

According to Engadget, the Palm Treo is running Windows Mobile 5.0 (for sure), has a one megapixel camera, is EV-DO enabled, includes Bluetooth and has 64MB of memory but no W-LAN.

Engadget expects that the Treo 700w has a 240 x 240 pixels screen (only), not a 320 x 320 screen at all which is the only bad news so far (beside the missing W-LAN). Since it is labeled with a Verizon sticker, we can expect to see it released there. No word yet about a possible GSM version.

Cheers ~ Arne
