Over at Pocket PC Thoughts and Engadget, they got information from Pocket PC Dubai about a previously rumored Windows Mobile device from Motorola aka RAZRberry which is now called "Franklin". Interestingly enough, these information leaked through a Dangaard PowerPoint presentation which is (wonder how long) available through Microsoft as download.
According to the leaked specifications, it is expected to be a Windows Mobile 5 devices, supporting GSM/GPRS and EDGE and includes 128 MB ROM, 64 MB RAM, a miniSD slot, and a 2.4" 320 x 240 screen. Also it's expected to include a 1130 mAH battery, a 1.3 megapixel camera plus support for Bluetooth. WiFi isn't mentioned yet.
Okay, as always this is a rumor but the source (Dangaard Telecom) looks serious enough to take this for real now. Because it was a leak only, there was no release date or price given yet.
Oh and by the way - right now it's speculated on several sites which Windows Mobile 5 version it will use and for me it looks like it will Smartphone instead of Pocket PC, even if it looks more like a Pocket PC but this is just another speculation.
Cheers ~ Arne
