Following countless rumors prior the Nokia World, today Nokia announced the Nokia BH-121 Bluetooth stereo headset. Nokia-typical and quite common for Bluetooth audio accessory in general, the Nokia BH-121 is NFC-enabled which means its instantly connect with an NFC-enabled smartphone. It even supports multi-point connections which allows to connect two devices. The BH-121 comes with noise blocking in-ear headphones and incorporates a standard 3.5 mm audio connector which allows to attach any favorite headphones (or speakers) by still allowing the use of the BH-121's controls. The BH-121 supports the HFP/HSP and A2DP/AVRCP profiles but unfortunately no word about the support of aptX codec.
Anyway, the battery life is indicated by the BH-121's LEDs but Nokia Lumia Windows Phone users can also verify the status right from the smartphone's Start screen - from the BH-121's very own Live tile - which allows to check battery life, connectivity status and also allows to track the location for those moments when you forget where you left it. The main hardware button allows to to handle calls and to play music, with volume controls and track control buttons arranged along the edges for easy access. The neatly crafted tile design of the BH-121 measures just 39 x 39 x 12 mm and can be attached to clothing, using the secure clip.
As Nokia said, the BH-121 comes in true iconic style, sporting the same Nokia colors Lumia and Asha customers are familiar with: cyan, red, yellow and black. The BH-121 will have an estimated retail price o 39 Euro and will be on sale from December.
Cheers ~ Arne
