Ahead of today's/tomorrow's starting Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung has just unveiled its latest Galaxy Note tablet - the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. Said to be made for the thinkers, the dreamers, the movers and shakers, the Note 8.0 allows to scribble a thought, sketch out a concept, organize ideas and express creativity wherever inspiration may strike, thanks to Samsung's S Pen. Running on Android 4.1/Jelly Bean, the Note 8.0 is powered by a quad-core Exynos 4412 at 1.6 GHz. It's said to only support quadband HSPA+ at 850/900/1900/2100 (no word about GSM or UMTS), WiFi a/b/g/n at 2.4 and 5 GHz, Bluetooth 4.0 and aGPS/sGPS and Glonass. As the name says, it comes with a missive 8" WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel at 189 PPT) TFT touch screen.

The main camera supports 5 megapixel while the front facing camera only supports 1.3 megapixel. It comes with 2 GB RAM and either 16 or 32 GB of flash memory which can be expanded with microSD memory cards up to 64 GB. At a size of 210.8 x 135.9 x 7.95 mm, the Note 8.0 weights 338 g, including the massive 4,600 mAh battery.

Cheers ~ Arne
