Right
after HTC announced the new
HTC Touch
Diamond2 and
HTC Touch Pro2 yesterday, today T-Mobile unveiled as the first operator to
carry both Windows Mobile smartphones as the T-Mobile MDA Compact V and T-Mobile
MDA Vario V.
The T-Mobile MDA Compact V - which is HTC's Touch Diamond2 but comes in an
exclusive T-Mobile design - is a feature rich touchscreen Internet device.
Offering T-Mobile's newest web'n'walk service, a large 3.2" WVGA display, high
speed HSDPA (up to 7.2 Mbit/s), WiFi and GPS, the T-Mobile MDA Compact V is a
highly desirable phone built for the mobile Internet age.

The Compact V will first launch in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany,
Netherlands and UK by June 2009.
The T-Mobile MDA Vario V - which is HTC's Touch Pro2 - joins the T-Mobile MDA
Compact V as another web'n'walk enabled phone, further strengthening T-Mobile's
position as a leader in mobile Internet services. The device features a full
QWERTY keyboard with kick-tail mechanism, a WVGA screen, GPS and HSDPA (up to
7.2 Mbit/s).

It will first launch in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany,Netherlands and UK

Both the T-Mobile MDA Compact V and T-Mobile MDA Vario V use Microsoft

look forward to continuing this strong partnership in 2009.
Prices weren't announced today; also it wasn't confirmed that T-Mobile will
offer Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrades as soon as available.
