NAMING: Benq to sell the P50 Pocket PC Phone Edition under the Siemens brand?

According the the always well informed Chinese-language Commercial Times, BenQ is likely to sell its P50 Pocket PC Phone Edition under the Siemens brand, at least in Europe, instead of using the - still unknown - own Benq brand and the final launch is expected for late September/early October.
While I understand this move, it makes me a little bit wonder since Benq preqiously announced not to use the Siemens brand any longer (max. 1 year), after the acquisition is finalized.
On the other hands, the last financial results of Benq and its mobile phone business were that bad, that the Benq managers might make a move now, towards the well established Siemens brand, at least in Europe.

Okay, so we will never see the long awaited Benq P50 here in Europe but we will get the "so far unknown" Siemens P50 instead? Not a big deal, as long as Benq will also decide to upgrade the OS from Windows Mobile 2003SE to Windows Mobile 5.0

Cheers ~ Arne
