Vodafone UK unveiled today that it will follow other operators and launch Sony Ericsson's first Android smartphone, the Xperia X10, in April as well. On top and building on Sony Ericsson's entertainment heritage and combining rich graphics with intelligence capabilities, the Xperia X10 introduces a new UX platform incl. Mediascape and Timescape.

Vodafone UK's Xperia X10 supports quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and triband UMTS/HSPDA/HSUPA at 900/1700/2100. It will be available from Vodafone UK in April. A price wasn't given today.
