OVERRAN: Beats Music puts Registration of new Accounts on-hold

Following this week's launch of its streaming service, Beats Music sent out and E-Mail update last night where it explained that they "have been blown away by the love that made them the #1 Music App in the iTunes Store". However, due to the extremely high volume of interest in the Beats Music service, some users are experiencing issues; something I've also read about on Twitter. While Beats Music said that most people are unaffected, its priority is to give everyone a great experience and the company seems to have expected such an issue and has therefore been prepared. Because of the weak experience some users faced, Beats Music is now going to hold off on letting more people in while the company is working on a resolution.

Furthermore, Beats Music said that for those that claimed their account name in the lead up to launch phase, it still has your username reserved and that they will be in touch with your invite. And for everybody who was able to register yesterday or the day before, Beats Music has a great gift by giving away additional free seven days trial the service.

Cheers ~ Arne
