The
HTC S730 is the Windows Mobile 6 Standard smartphone I've awaited. Equipped with
UMTS/HSDPA and quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
as well as its fast 400 MHz Qualcomm processor, it's the perfect device for
those consumers and business professionals who want high speed connectivity.
It's is a stylish and compact phone which features an auto-sliding QWERTY
keyboard making it an ideal choice for the mobile professional who needs easy
access to E-Mail, messaging and the internet while out of the office. The HTC
S730 comes equipped with Windows Mobile 6 and 256 MB Flash memory wrapped in a
sleek gun-metal grey casing:
The HTC S730 will be available anytime this month across Europe. A review should follow as soon as I get a test device.
Arne, and word on the size? Is it the same size as the 710 or has it fattened up? Looks a bit bigger but it could just be the size of your hands.

Well, I can say my hands staid the same over the past years but you are right, if you compare the HTC Vox here with the HTC S730 here you can see that the S730 is slightly fatter. Another good comparison might be this perspective photo of the HTC Vox here with the HTC S730 here.
Not that the S730 became too thick but it seems to be slightly thicker and longer. Unfortunately, there was no Vox available for comparison shots so all I can share here is my impression.
Unfortunately, HTC hasn't given any details about the device dimension yet but I will follow-up with HTC. Stay tuned for an update this week.

Somehow the S710 looks so much more sleeker then S730. I would have preferred the old styling than the new gun metal casing. ALso the S730 looks too boxy when compared to the vox, Hmm........ I wish vox had G3...I would have gone for it by now!
