Folks! I think a lot of you are looking forward the CeBIT like me, which starts next week in Hannover. If you will attend CeBIT too, don’t forget to take your Pocket PC (or Notebook) and W-LAN Wi-Fi card with you: Mobilcom and France Télécom will build – in cooperation with Cisco – the “worlds largest test LAN”. This means that it is planned to cover mostly all halls and the convention center with IEEE 802.11b. As known today, the access is free of charge during the CeBIT. Details about the configuration wasn’t given.
So looking forward to see you wireless geeks in the net... ;-)

UPDATE: For the network SSID you have to chose "ANY". You will be redirected automatically to the Mobilcom CeBIT web site where you have to enter a User Name and Password. This is available free of charge from the Internetcafe at the IC and is valid for one day.

Cheers ~ Arne
