Absolutely
nothing is known yet about another smartphone, HTC seems to work on but good old
Bluetooth Special Interest Group unveiled that a new HTC smartphone is coming,
which is code-named "HTC CONV100".
According to the available document, the geographical availability is Africa,
Asia, Europe, North and South America which speaks for a - at least - quadband
2.5G device.
Unfortunately, the Bluetooth SIG has shut-down its second approval site,
therefore we even don't know which Bluetooth version is supported (but most
likely Bluetooth 2.0+EDR):

But the CONV100 Series must be pretty new. HTC's latest (officially known)
Windows Mobile smartphone, the
HTC Pharos,
which was just introduced last month, has the product ID 4636 while the CONV100
has the Bluetooth product ID 4822!
Could the CONV100 be
yesterday's announced T-Mobile
MDA compact IV?
At this point, everything is possible but thanks to the Bluetooth SIG we know
that it is a "phone" and even a "smartphone".
Cheers ~ Arne
