A
lucky user over at the pdaclub.pl forum just got his hands on a working sample
of the HTC Leo and the first he did was uploading some photos. Furthermore it
seems that the HTC Leo specs, as floating through the Internet before, are
somewhat confirmed now. Therefore it can be expected, that the HTC Leo will run
on Windows Mobile 6.5 and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8250B CPU
at 1 GHz. The Leo is expected to feature GSM/EGRS/EDGE as well as UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA,
WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, aGPS, a G-, motion- and light-sensor. The massive
4.3" WVGA (480 x 800) touchscreen is expected to be Windows Mobile's first
capacitive display.

The autofocus camera is said to supports 8 megapixel (and on the photos you can
see a photo light). As all the latest HTC smartphones, the HTC Leo is also
expected to feature a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack (not yet confirmed by the
photos) but it seems to be confirmed, that the device will feature 320 MB RAM
and 512 MB ROM (which can be expanded by microSD cards).
A release date is yet unknown.
Cheers ~ Arne
