During the past days, some speculations made the round that Fujitsu Siemens is going to introduce a Windows Mobile based Pocket PC Phone Edition called Pocket Loox PHN800 and today the first blurry picture appeared which might is the - so far - unknown Phone Edition - or not.

According to Italian SoloPalmari, this Phone Edition is expected to has a 2.8" LCD with QVGA only, not VGA as ruored before. But it should runs an Intel XScale CPU with 624 MHz, features 64 MB RAM, 256 MB Flash ROM is quad-band, supports GSM, GPRS and UMTS, had an integrated GPS (SiRFstar III) receiver, supports Bluetooth 1.2 as well as 802.11g W-LAN and has an SDIO compatible SD/MMC slot, USB-Host, a QWERTY thumb-board and for sure it runs on Windows Mobile 5.0.

So basically it has everything and should looks like this:

Hm, not that I'm skeptical here :| but basically this device seems to support everything a single Pocket PC Phone Edition can support today (except VGA). Either the specs are a joke or the photo above or both or non and we will really see it released during 2006. 8O I don't want to comment it yet since I don't have any further information but if this would become true as posted above, I'm sure it will finds many friends.

Cheers ~ Arne
