This
morning I received a new batch of
PPCW.Net i-Mate Smartphone2 (Windows Mobile
2003 Smartphone) and
PPCW.Net i-Mate Phone Edition (Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket
PC Phone Edition) devices which are available right from now! :-)
Any idea why its so difficult to get hold of the i-mate phone edition? Is it
production problems or are they just sold out?

It's not because of any production problems nor because of any quality problems HTC might have but simply because the device is much, much more successful then forecasted (even by HTC itself). Therefore it's harder to get all the components like displays, etc. to manufacture the device.
Simply said: it's a best seller and therefore hard to get...

I got the new batch end of last week but because I'm in Seattle this week I decided not to update the shop because I can not send any devices.
But right after Easter, if I'm back from Seattle the PPCW.Net i-Mate Phone Edition will be back in stock and available through the PPCW.Net Online Shop.
