 Alright,
thanks to Thanksgiving and today's black Friday, it seems to be a slow news day.
Therefore I spent half the day with optimizing the backend database and doing
some code-changes and updates I planned for a long time already. The maybe most
important code-change is an upgrade of the::unwired's RSS feed. We introduced
our
RSS feed back in 2003 already (when the::unwired was called PPCW.Net), long
time before it became really popular. However, it was always a pretty clean (not
to say boring) RSS feed, without any pictures or links but just the basic
version of the front-page article. While we are still not publishing the full
article as an RSS feed (someone has to visit the site that we get our bills paid
;-), the new RSS feed now features the teaser graphic as well as links to
related articles or tags:
