Adobe just announced that it will bring its Flash Player 10.1 to - most likely - Windows Phone 7 as well. While Microsoft confirmed us on one of the recent MIX events, that it will grant Adobe Windows Phone 7 system access to implement Flash as native code, not as manages code, so far there wasn't an official word on the street. However, with its recent press release, Adobe made it somewhat official that Flash Player 10.1, which brings rich Flash based content to mobile devices inside the browser, will hit future versions of "Windows Phone" which most likely means Windows Phone 7. Right now, Flash Player 10.1 is available on Android and Google TV.

Furthermore, Adobe confirmed that Flash Player 10,1 will also hit the BlackBerry platform, HP webOS 2.0, LiMo, MeeGo and the Symbian OS anytime soon while Apple's iOS seems to be still out of the scope.

Cheers ~ Arne
