NAVIGON, suppliers of the navigation software for OCN5 (OnCourse Navigator), has announced its intention to phase out its line of PDA platform products in North America, effective immediately. Easy must therefore announce its decision to discontinue the OCN5 product line as of July 1, 2006. Users of this product should note that both Easy and Navigon are committed to providing continuing technical support for OCN5 through July 1, 2007.

As Navigon said, this move become necessary due to the market landscape of navigation products is changing rapidly, the PDA market is shifting swiftly toward a new generation of wireless devices such as smart and cell phones. Like other technology companies, Navigon is shifting focus toward new and emerging technologies and applications.
