THOUGHT: T-Mobile's web'n'walk portal - a great starting point...

But not that complete yet. Okay, while everybody else is talking about the rumors that T-Mobile International may sell their US share T-Mobile USA (formerly known as VoiceStream), I want to rant about T-Mobile's new web'n'walk "PDA portal" I've used intensively today.
Even if you are not a German T-Mobile customer (please note that at the moment it's available in German only, the international versions will be launched later this year), you can access it (from your Vodafone, O2 or E-Plus device) under: and it's well done, a pretty complete link list but as I said in the header - not completley done (yet):

Today, when I was abroad I wanted to follow the "Tour de France" in real time and I thought myself "hey, one of the top teams is called 'T-Mobile'", so I've check their site since I was sure they have a web'n'walk, mobile devices optimized tour ticker but forget it! Nothing on their new page but links to other sites only. :-(

As much as I like their new PDA site (it can become for German what Mazingo was in the early Pocket PC days) as much I wonder how hard it can be to implement live tickers for events like Le Tour or the FIFA World Cup next year (which is the next proof for me since Deutsche Telekom is sponsoring this event also). So please - offer at least live tickers for events you are involved. ;-)

Cheers ~ Arne
