Yesterday Janusz sent me the announcement of his latest Today screen plug-ins:

  • Zodiac Date Today: This new version is with zodiac signs.
  • Owner's Today: This new version is with all information, and can be customizing easily.

Beside this, he is working on a very interesting GUI interface for the Pocket PC - called XPPCTM - eXtra Pocket PC - which completely redesigns the Today screen as well as the navigation logic of the Pocket PC.

Zodiac Date Today
The first one is Zodiac Date Today which is a small (20kB) and easy application. It allows you to change a look of Date information displayed on Today's screen. It can be downloaded for free from

Owner's Today
The second plug-in is Owner Today. It's a small (15kB) and easy application which allows you to change the look of Owner information displayed on Today's screen.

Owner Today is also available free of charge from

XPPCTM - eXtra Pocket PC
The most exciting project, Janusz is currently working on is XPPCTM - eXtra Pocket PC:

XPPC is a new user's interface for Pocket PCs. It stays on the top of operating system, allows user to customize its look and feel. This is not a new operating system for Pocket PCs and it's not a hidden feature of any know or next operating system, it's a complete new Today Screen and more!

Currently XPPCTM is in Beta testing, I will give you more information later but my first impression is impressive! I don't knew, that Pocket PC 2002 is able to provide such a cool GUI! Get more information on the XPPCTM project page.

Cheers ~ Arne
