UNVEILED: GCF confirms Samsung GT-I8000 Windows Phone existence

Back in February, the WiFi Alliance spilled the beans that Samsung is working on a new Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone which the WiFi alliance called "Cubic37/GT-i8000". Now, the GCF followed with some further details. While the WiFi Alliance already confirmed WiFi b/g compatibility, the GCF unveiled that Samsung's next (most likely) Windows Mobile smartphone also supports quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz as well as triband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 1800/1900/2100 MHz plus MMS and video telephony:

No further information given yet but maybe this is Samsung's next Omnia smartphone after the Korean handset maker confirmed that the Omnia brand will exclusively used for Windows Mobile smartphones.
