Looks
like i-mate is extending its range of
JAMA smartphones.
Following the earlier released
i-mate JAMA, the Dubai based Windows Mobile specialist recently unveiled the
i-mate JAMA 101 Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone. Supporting triband
GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz as well and Bluetooth, the JAMA 101 lacks
WiFi and UMTS.
The 2.4" touchscreen device is powered by a Samsung CPU at 300 MHz and sports
128 MB of ROM and 64 MB RAM which can be extended by microSD memory cards. Last
but not least, the device sports a 2 megapixel autofocus camera with flash for
photos and videos:

The standby time is given with 150 hours, the talk time is given with 4
hours.
An interesting looking entry-level device but the design reminds pretty much
on the HTC Prophet.
Availability and price is unknown yet.
Cheers ~ Arne
