got information about a new and so far completely unknown HTC Pocket PC Phone
Edition - the HTC Pharos or HTC P3470. Following the good tradition of the HTC
Magician, the HTC Pharos seems to be an interesting small entry-level Windows
Mobile smartphone.
Running on Windows Mobile 6 Professional, the HTC Pharos seems to be a 2.5G
smartphone only, since it has a TI OMAP CPU at 200 MHz on board only. In
addition, the Pharos is said to feature Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS, but no WiFi and
is equipped with 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM:

The HTC Pharos doesn't seems to be a HTC Touch device. First of all it sports
two hardware soft-keys which is unusual for Touch devices and furthermore has
the Today screen plug-in 5 tabs - similar to the
HTC Kaiser (aka
HTC TyTN II) which
means it features some kind of HTC TouchFLO functionalities but not the bio
touch functionalities as used for the
HTC Touch,
Touch Dual or
Touch Cruise.
Further information aren't available today.
