As reported before and posted by many of you, the Boxwave miniSync cable for the xda II aka HTC Himalaya had some serious problems with de-charging the battery. However, this seems to be fixed now as I got an E-Mail from Wing of Boxwave:

I have some good news for you that I wanted to pass along. Over the past month we' ve been working hard on the XDA II miniSync, and I' m now happy to inform you that our latest XDA II miniSync is able to successfully bring a complete charge to the XDA II!

Even with the existence of HTC's change in the charging logic, we were able to work around it. We've verified it and the miniSync was able to charge the XDA II completely from any battery level, 0% to 100%

This XDA II miniSync will work with a myriad of the new i-mate Pocket PC's and Smartphones.

So as you can read above, it's now working with the HTC Pocket PC Phone Edition as well as with the Smartphone; a sample is already on the way to me and I will keep you updated how it works now as soon as I've received it.

Cheers ~ Arne
