While Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 comes with Facebook support preinstalled, it's part of the Peoples hub, for sure there's also a Facebook Mobile app available which has way more features. The Peoples hub integration is great to quickly check latest Facebook updates or to update the own status; however Facebook Mobile for Windows Phone 7 allows to also review upcoming events, manage the Inbox, upload photos, publish notes, accept friend requests and look at friends' photos, walls and info. Now, following the recent Facebook Mobile update for Android, also Windows Phone 7 received an updates which finally adds support of Facebook Places and allows to tag photos.

Yet not supported is Facebook Chat but hopefully this will be added soon/in the next update. Also yet not supported the the ability to upload recorded videos, as Facebook for Windows Phone 6 allows it.

Facebook Mobile for Windows Phone 7 v1.1.0.0 is now available free of charge from the Marketplace.

Cheers ~ Arne
